“Gardeners Direct” is a small business based in Perth that has excellent environmental values. Our company was launched at the April 2002 “Garden Week Expo”. The managers have had many year's experience in the organic industry. We promote ourselves as “Perth's environmentally friendly garden product supply specialists ” simply because we supply and deliver a range of quality organic and chemical free garden products.

Our company policy has been to source a range of products that conform to our strict environmental guidelines. New products are added to our web site catalogue and promoted at public gardening events we attend. This business does not have a store, instead we have a good web site.

It is home based and we outsource much of our work to contractors and suppliers.

From humble beginnings selling one product we now supply more than fifteen. All of these are organic, environmentally friendly, chemical free and do not contribute to pollution.

There is growing concern in the community about the regular occurrence of algal blooms and pollution of Perth's rivers and wetlands.

Through regular contact with the gardening community we are educating people in using products that will improve their gardens without having any adverse impact on the environment. In order to promote this philosophy we have introduced a free quarterly newsletter that is e-mailed to our subscribers. The newsletter supplies information and interesting articles about a range of gardening topics based on organic gardening principles. We now have a growing number of regular and satisfied customers who regularly use our products. Our aim is to promote our business activities in the interest of a healthier environment and have a plan is in place to achieve this.
